Named after the Gaelic word for "poet" or "bard", this gin is made with eight botanicals: juniper, angelica root, licorice, coriander seed, lemon peel, rosemary, black peppercorns and cassia bark.

Named after the Gaelic word for "poet" or "bard", this gin is made with eight botanicals: juniper, angelica root, licorice, coriander seed, lemon peel, rosemary, black peppercorns and cassia bark. The gin is distilled in "Annie," the name given to their copper pot-still, before being bottled at 43% ABV.

No artificial flavors or colors can be added. Only water, neutral grain spirit, and sugar (no more than 0.1g/l) can be added.

"With so many craft distilleries making unusual gins, it comes as a nice to surprise to find one nailing a classic style. Makar leads with a strong taste of juniper, backed by the bright citrus notes of coriander and the spice of peppercorns. It's a bold, spicy gin that would surely mix well in classic cocktails."
