Maker's Mark 46 French Oaked

Brown Sugar & sweet cream, maybe even a little raisin

Nice rich taste with smooth finish. French Oak leaves nice silky notes while having less of bite and finer finish than Classic Makers Mark.

Blind Test: Maker’s Mark 46 French Oaked Nose: sweet, vanilla, red fruit, wood smoke Taste: oak, wood smoke (not overwhelming, sort of like smelling a bbq from a distance), vanilla, feels higher proof (over 100), very enjoyable, sweet Finish: hot but not unpleasant, cinnamon, red hots/cinnamon candy, long finish Overall score: 4/5

Smooth, great mouthfeel. It is a sweeter bourbon but it is not too forward with that sweetness.

Chocolote, caramel, vanilla, finishes tart, a daint note of berry in the background.
