Maker's Mark 46 French Oaked

The bourbon that made me a fan. Still had the classic makers cherry tootsie pop undertone with the woody finish. Love it

Heavy oak-forward with a light vanilla and semi-lingering finish. The "official" distiller.com reviewer was clearly already drunk, as a nose description of "cocoa powder dusted chocolate truffle" is so far up its own ass as to already being a crock of horseshit before even smelling it yourself that you know the rest of the review is meaningless drivel as well. Decent bourbon that's not worth the asking price in BC Canada when you can get Rare Breed for $3 more and 101 for $20 less.

On the nose, it is sweet smelling with hints of apple and berries. On the palet it starts out very smooth and sweet giving way to the apple and berry flavers and finishes with a ever so slight spicy note. It is a little thin in the mouth but full of flavor.
