Maker's Mark 46 French Oaked

Nose is full-bodied, rich, and balanced. Allspice, orange peel, vanilla, and oak. Nothing overpowers anything else and all notes get their turn. The taste is hot and spicy at the beginning with a heavy mouthfeel. Orange peel, sugar, honey, and charred oak toward the middle. Finish lingers on and on. Water tames the nose a little and brings forth cinnamon, but muddles and dilutes the taste. 93/100.

Vanilla, cherry, oak, caramel, cinnamon, nutmeg on the nose. Leather, tobacco, brown sugar, caramel, maple taste. Tastes real hot but finishes relatively smooth considering the higher abv.
