Maker's Mark 46 French Oaked

Excellent choice for a good budget bourbon. One of the smoothest bourbons at its price point (~$33) that I have ever had. Definitely recommend

There’s a corn syrupy-sweet impression the standard 46 that leaves with me I can’t quite shake, but the maker’s cask strength, & everything to the right of this in the lineup (private selections, wood finishing series, etc.), has been a winner by me.

On the nose: vanilla, antique wood, and cherry On the palate: vanilla, ripe banana, oak, light spice, maybe a touch of smoke, and dark chocolate The more complex makers mark!
