The biggest difference it had with other cheaper bourbons I tried is the extra layer of leather and nutty/earthiness on the nose , and more complexity overall, reflecting the meticulous blending that went into it.
Noticeably thicker, more oily texture too.
This bourbon gets better with every tasting. I'm getting a little spice, but intense vanilla, wood, and caramel notes. A well-rounded body with a sweet finish. Pretty good.
Cherry, oak spice on the nose, but don’t breathe too deep as the ethanol punches above its weight. The palate mirrors the nose with a cherry vanilla finish. Good stuff.
