Maker's Mark Cask Strength

Really enjoy this bourbon, closest thing I can find to Antique 107, which is impossible to find. Vanilla, rich, definte kick. Great stuff.

First time trying this one neat. Nose - spices and cinnamon. Smells spicy as I imagine it being with the higher proof Taste - heavy vanilla up front. The spiciness I get up front as well with tobacco, oak, more vanilla, and cinnamon. Finishes medium with a nice heat, some smoky notes and even more cinnamon. This one compares in taste to the 46 in my opinion just more proof and heat

I’m never gonna reach for a bourbon over a scotch but this was nice. Full flavor for sure.

Sip slow; let it warm up. Open w/ a touch of water to smooth out the bite. Delicious

Batch 20-01: Vanilla, caramel, and butter scotch notes throughout the experience. It’s off smooth to start off, but then has a nice spicy and cinnamon kick that climaxes in the middle of the tasting, and then it smooths off again with a sweet yet oaky finish. A very enjoyable roller coaster ride!!

For $40 and its ease of availability (at least in Ohio), this is my go to wheated bourbon. This is worthy of a spot on the shelf. Very good - a cut above. Batch 19-02.

Wonderful! Strong vanilla and cinnamon and oaky flavor! Delicious spicy bite to it. Don't just buy one to drink but also by 1 to put on the shelf.
