Reviewed May 23, 2021Floral and citrus on the nose. Toffee and nutty on first sip. Ice cube adds some charred notes that further adds to this already good offering. Great one to share or keep for yourself! -

Reviewed May 7, 2021 (edited August 1, 2021)03205 is the stave profile. 111proof-This is Full Belly restaurant in San Antonio selection. Heavy sweet cornbread and poundcake, coconut flakes with some good baking spices and toasted barrel on the nose. Cinnamon and caramel lurk in the background teasing the palate. Strong flavor delivery of crumbcake drizzled with melted caramel, dark chocolate, oak and spice lead to finish of drying woods and spices but the sweet caramel cake holds its ground to add balance. This is very good bourbon though a tick overpriced imo. Barrel strength is almost as good for less winning the value equation. This is more buttery and complex and honestly you win with either one.........89/100.....okay just re-read my MMCS review and have to say this is better rounded and is laced with caramel sweetness so despite price I will even them up....86/100 . Major thanks to two of my favorite co-workers who got this for me as a wonderful gift. Thanks again!!70.0 USD per Bottle -

Reviewed May 4, 2021Liquor Barn, Louisville, KY, Smore Castle 1-BAP2, 4-FSC, 3-RFM, 2-TFS, 109.0 proof Nice nose, reminiscent of carameled apples. This drinks differently on ice than straight. Straight brings under ripe apples with their astringency. Pour it over ice, and the namesake (Smore) comes forward, sweet, cocoa, and smoke. The cocoa lingers for a long time and finally fades to the under ripe apple which is a Makers theme for me and there's a slight chewing tobacco as well. I might have liked this better with no or only one toasted French spice. Not my favorite MMPS, but the deeper I've gotten into this bottle, the more I've appreciated it's uniqueness.70.0 USD per Bottle -

Palate has more floral notes and under ripe apple. Finish is sweet with apple lingering and a nice warm chest. This is good but not memorable.70.0 USD per Bottle -
