Mayenda is a sipping tequila brand under the Campari Group portfolio. It's made with 100% azul agave under the guidance of Maestro Tequilero Jesus Susunaga and his team at Casa San Nicolás in Jalisco. There are two production techniques that are unique to this brand.
Prior to the final distillation in copper pot stills, the base distillate has been macerated with roasted piñas (the heart of the agave) and the distillate has been blended with agave miel or "honey" which is also a product from the cooking stage. There are no added sugars or additives post distillation. Mayenda Blanco Tequila is launching in the US and in Mexico as of April 2023.

Tequila BlancoDistilled from 100% blue Weber agave, it is typically unaged , clear, and bottled straight after distillation. Sometimes rested in stainless steel up to 60 days and can also be aged in wood for no more than 30 days.
Tasting Notes
"The nose is fresh, citrusy, and somewhat floral, with notes of grapefruit and lime peels, lemongrass, pineapple frond, and roasted agave. The palate takes on a peppery (as in the spice) element, adding to richer notes of roasted agave, citrus, and a slight but pleasant grassiness. It's quite lively on the palate, with a zingy, peppery finish and a balanced minerality. "
