Astral Tequila is made with 100% blue Weber agave which, after cooking, are crushed with a traditional stone tahona. Additionally, the agave fibers called the "bagasso" are added to the fermentation process to enhance the flavor. The reposado bottling is aged for five months in single-use American oak bourbon barrels.

Tequila ReposadoDistilled from 100% blue Weber agave, it is aged from 2 months up to a year in barrels no larger than 20,000 L. Any type of wood is acceptable, although ex-bourbon barrels are most common. Reposado translates to "rested".

Tasting Notes
"The nose gives off a balanced mix of vegetal, sweet, and fruity with aromas of grapefruit peel, lime, green bell pepper, spearmint, and vanilla. On the palate, roasted agave flavors mix with toasted spices, vanilla, and green pepper, enveloped by a medium honeyed sweetness and orange blossom florals. The medium finish goes out with a spark of spice and toastiness. "
