Each year, Columbus Ohio's Watershed Distillery releases a Barrel-Aged Nocino. Debuting December 2020 to mark the distillery's 10th year in business, this bourbon (aged nearly 5 years) was finished in barrels that once held that walnut liqueur, making it the first nocino-finished bourbon.
This limited release was bottled at barrel strength at 59.5% ABV.

Tasting Notes
"This is all the fun holiday treats in a glass! Notes of vanilla iced gingersnap cookies, fruitcake (dried fruit, citrus peels), cocoa, toffee, clove and cinnamon coat the palate. A warming texture of walnuts and cashews builds in the mid-palate, with a slightly earthy finish. The ultimate pairing would be to sip this whiskey along with gingerbread, pecan pie or snickerdoodles. "
