Benchmark No. 8 Bourbon

Watery bad barrel, but tolerable

Sweet with some slight spice and short finish. Not bad for the price and an easy cheap drink.

Similar to Evan Williams green. Tastes like varnished wood.

Appearance: light caramel Nose: ethanol, rubber, green apple, very slight oak and cherry that dissipates quickly Palate: not much of anything, thin mouthfeel, corn, cereal grains, but overall lacks character Finish: blink and you’ll miss it, slightly bitter, not particularly memorable for better or worse Very cheap bottle that would be fine as a mixing whiskey, but definitely isn’t for sipping.

Extremely great and smooth, especially for thr money
