Strong amount of vanilla on the aroma. The flavor doesn't have much punch to it, and there's just ever so slight an alcohol burn on the finish. Not much to it, but not awful.
Neat: Smooth, tartness leans towards sour, mild bite, is it fermented black pepper?
With a small bit of water: sour funk melts to sweetness
Over ice: slightly sweet and peppery, not much going on
Cheap, but not rotgut. Get vanilla, caramel, and maybe some apple on the nose. Hint of oak, lot of sweetness, faint pepper taste on the palate. Heat, spice, and burnt sugar on the long finish. Not hard to sip at all.
