McClelland's Single Malt Islay

Starts very vanilla and sweet before a bit of smoke sneaks out, but not particularly strong

Very strong peat flavour. Definitely can taste a bit of the sea as mentioned, I also get a hint of olive on the nose and palate. Dry finish. Very short, flavour falls flat.

Peaty but light. Tastes better after two drops of water in a single. Notes change enough to break through the peatiness and allow you to taste the other notes. Something I’d consider very middle of the road.
