Michter's 10 Year Single Barrel Bourbon

We had an unopened bottle sitting in the office so after @Elw00t watched me wage war on the wax top I finally got it open. It’s a bit bitter and spicy, lacking the sweetness I was expecting to find. Red Hots and wood chips.

A good way to spend a dram. Tastes like smooth vanilla to me and a left over of soft smoke. Has the added benefit of you might get to watch someone struggle with opening the wax sealed lid. Enjoyed with @mikael

This works for me. Caramel and chocolate, light vanilla. Super smooth on the palate. Finishes with an intense spiciness coupled with the full burn of the proof within your cheeks
