RyeUnlike bourbon, rye whiskey can be made anywhere in the world. But if made in the US, the mash bill recipe must be at least 51% rye and it must be aged in new, charred oak barrels with no age requirement. Elsewhere, the rye whiskey will be made keeping the country of origin's rules regarding the recipe and minimum aging.

Tasting Notes
"Fallen pine cones, vanilla, maple syrup, red apples, cinnamon, spearmint and maple syrup form the nose. Toasty rye, black raisins, figs, more of that sweet maple flavor and some green notes like mint and freshly cut grass develop on the palate. There's a good hit of cinnamon and nutmeg, but spicier notes of clove and black pepper are more understated in the mid palate. Those come on stronger toward the back of the palate, along with a pleasant note of roasted green tea. The rye finishes quite spicy, but clean and sweet with hint of tartness to round it out. "
