RyeUnlike bourbon, rye whiskey can be made anywhere in the world. But if made in the US, the mash bill recipe must be at least 51% rye and it must be aged in new, charred oak barrels with no age requirement. Elsewhere, the rye whiskey will be made keeping the country of origin's rules regarding the recipe and minimum aging.

Tasting Notes
"Initially, the flavors of this whiskey are tightly clenched and difficult to separate. With some water, baked pumpernickel bread, dried fruits, and dark molasses emerge. A tart stripe of apricot and lemon peel cuts through it, with a subtle dose of cinnamon, nutmeg, pine cone, clove, and black pepper. A low trail of heat brings it into the finish and lingers in the throat; it is not tempered much with ice or water. "
