RyeUnlike bourbon, rye whiskey can be made anywhere in the world. But if made in the US, the mash bill recipe must be at least 51% rye and it must be aged in new, charred oak barrels with no age requirement. Elsewhere, the rye whiskey will be made keeping the country of origin's rules regarding the recipe and minimum aging.

Tasting Notes
"The nose is like warm, toasted seeded pumpernickel bread spread with spiced cherry jam. The palate has an dense, almost chewy mix of rich vanilla, cocoa, cherries, and spice—like straight rye whiskey served with a few gratings of dried tonka bean, adding a subtle florality. The spice is less present in the finish, but minty and vanilla richness linger pleasantly with the effects of charred oak. "
