Tasting Notes
"The distinct roastiness of this bourbon hits the nose right away, followed by apricot, stewed apples with spices, maple, and a hint of library book binding leather. The palate tastes more youthful than the nose would suggest, with ripe apricot, bing cherry, and tart apple with loads of cinnamon, nutmeg, and a subtle hint of clove and caramel. It definitely has the characteristics of an older whiskey, but there is some life left in it, with a medium-length, spicy, and slightly charred and leathery finish. "
