Michter's US*1 Kentucky Straight Rye

Verdict: Bar Solid, but there are better options for the price.

Of course, it has a very strong presence, but exceptionally balanced in my opinion. Smoky oak flavors simply support the rich sweetness and all is accented with the spiciness. A stellar rye but complex enough in flavor to be difficult, presumably in a cocktail.

Starts sweet but ends on the spicy herbal side. Great bourbon overall.

Secretly sourced. Three stars because they won't say where it's distilled. Lame.
