Michter's US*1 Kentucky Straight Rye

Nose: Very sweet overall with notes of vanilla, oak and a peppery finish. Palate: Sweet with no heat. Herbal and oak notes. Finish is smooth but short, with some spice. Overall it's a great dram. I enjoyed this much more than the Michter's bourbon.

Darker honey colored, medium bodied, with a creamy mouthfeel. Nose: ripe apples, some caramel and vanilla sweetness. Mild oakiness and a hint of spice. Palate: apples and vanilla sweetness. Some spice and dry oak in the middle. Finish is quick and oaky with some mild apple sweetness and spice lingering behind. This is pretty tasty and crisp. Nice value for the price and definitely worth trying 🙂 3.7/5 or 4/5 on here.
