Michter's US*1 Kentucky Straight Rye

Very smooth over ice. Hints of end spice that finish clean.

Easy drinking, not overly spicy, probably due to the lower proof. Lots of honey on the nose and palate, slight Rye spice. An OK Rye. Not sure I'd buy again.

Not into Rye but this is decent. A very noticeable black pepper taste, very little sweetness hidden in the back. But not too bad. Would probably buy again. Nice to have as an option when I'm feeling adventurous

Sweet maple and honey along with sweet toasted oats and malt on the initial nose. The first taste is smooth with a spicy caramel front. The back end has a continued honey draw with smoke and the clean finish with the typical rye spice. A beautiful expression of what you would want from a quality rye that is great for those who have not been introduced to rye and deep enough to satisfy even the most concerning palates. Great quality rye whiskey for everyone.
