Michter's US*1 Kentucky Straight Bourbon

Dark cherries lead to a white corn finish. The nose provides molasses and banana bread. Very dark and fruity for a bourbon, unusual but not unwelcome.

Light refreahing smell, with some sweetness. Very smooth in the mouth, a little bite at tge back. Good flavors. Warm as it hits bottom.

The nose is honey and vanilla. On the palate I get vanilla, honey, butterscotch. The finish is oakey, with a lingering sour spice. I was really excited to try this bottle but I’m personally not a fan of the sourness in the finish. Not bad but not one Ill always have on my shelf.
