Nose: The nose is not very strong, subtle hints of corn and oak char. No alcohol on the nose so feel free to really dig deep. Its soft and tame with a subtle sweetness.
Palate: slightly sweet with a peppery spice. Like the nose its soft on the palate. A cinnamon note appears on the second sip with some fruitiness.
Mouth feel: thin/ watery
Finish: the finish is medium-long and drying with lingering fruit and oak notes
Over all a decent beginner bourbon not complex at all and for the mid range price. To me the 45$ I payed was a bit much.
Corn and butterscotch heavy on the nose. Palate is much the same with hints of vanilla and honey sweetness, and pulled in new directions with touches of dried fruit and subtle baking spice. Finish burns fast and a little hot. Overall punchy and sweet, but with a fun complexity lurking beneath the surface.
