Michter's US*1 Kentucky Straight Bourbon

Delicious nose. Strong. Add some droplets and taste totally changes. Mellowed.

Light caramel, sweet apple, a touch of honey, corn and light oak on the nose. Taste runs sweet with a touch of nuttiness; almost an almond and cashew mixture with small amounts candy corn. Finish has a bit of white pepper and oak bitterness. This is an acceptable bourbon that improves after opening and sitting for a while Solid 3 stars.

I love this stuff. it's a fantastic sipper. On the nose I get butterscotch. Taste has hints of banana and caramel. Easy going down and a nice long finish. If it were cheaper, this would be (one of) my everyday sipper(s).
