Nose: The nose starts off strong. Peanuts, vanilla, and heavy oak. Little to no alcohol smell.
Palate: The palate continues what the nose introduced. Some earthiness feels added too. Very little burn.
Finish: This lingers for a long time, but not very specifically. I can still taste it, but no flavors are particularly jumping out.
Overall, this is a good bourbon. Very earthy and natural, while also having very bog standard bourbon notes. This is definitely a good everyday sipper, if bought on sale, like I did. I probably would not buy this at full price.
