Michter's US*1 Sour Mash Whiskey

First time trying this whiskey and I have heard so much hype. I can tell this one is the standard barrel because it’s just okay. Not a very bold offering but not bad. I paid 55 and I personally was disappointed with what I paid. I feel 35-38 was more appropriate for what this brings. Caramel, cinnamon, corn, slight cocoa. Not much else to this.

Interesting nose on this, I like the taste. Might need to breathe a bit.

You can drink this all day!

Charred caramel oak nose with a sweet and smooth body and a smooth finish. Mild and enjoyable.
