"Aromas of freshly baked, seeded pumpernickel bread spread with fig jam fill the nose. More tangy dried fruit jamminess comes forth on the palate, with a bit of orange zest mixed in. The mid palate takes on savory, herbal notes of caraway and fennel seeds. The finish is sweet, fruity, and toasty, with the overall effect like sipping a fruit cake if it was made with pumpernickel flour. "
