Mortlach 15 Year (Game of Thrones Six Kingdoms)

Very good version of Mortlach single malt.

Bourbon cask, sweet and heavy on nose stronger, thicker, meaner but warming and not too gassy as a result.

Aside from the GOT novelty....this is a very satisfying dram indeed. Full, jammy, nutty in the nose and pallet. Then a nice dose of seaweed and salt. What’s there not to like?

Like drinking an old bookshelf.... in a kinda good way. The oakiness is borderline overpowering in this one, but it is definitely rich and flavorful. You just really have to like that element.

Honey, vanilla, cherry wood on nose. Creamy sweetness, toffee, touch of peat smoke, charred oak, smooth medium finish.
