Tequila Añejo
Mucha Liga // Jalisco, Mexico
Two of the most honored traditions in Mexico are lucha libre wrestling and the craft of tequila. Here the two are combined in handmade bottles shaped like luchador masks with tequilas that each embody a specific character.
Invicto is made from agave grown in the nutrient rich soils of La Cienéga and distilled with traditional methods in Juanacatlán. It's aged 18 months in ex-bourbon casks.

Tasting Notes
"Initially this tastes like the tequila equivalent of Coke mixed with Jarritos Mandarin soda. After a couple of sips, the sweetness is tempered with pine cone, spearmint, clove, allspice and chili pepper. An undertaste of sweet cocoa envelopes all these flavors. It's very sippable as an after dinner tequila, and would pair well with rich, creamy desserts. "
