Muddy River Silver Carolina Rum

Robbie and Caroline Delaney, unhappy with their respective careers in construction and accounting, threw caution to the wind and decided to follow their true passion distilling rum. A 500-square-foot space in an abandoned yarn-dyeing-mill near the “muddy” Catawba River was where they decided to set up shop, initially making only 35 bottles a day. These days, the distilling duo produces 300 bottles a day. Their Silver Carolina Rum was their first product, launched in 2012, and the base for all their spirits.
Silver RumAKA Blanco, Light, White. Rum that is usually aged (but not always) and carbon-filtered to remove any color. No specific type or size barrel required. No set time required for aging for most countries with a few exceptions.
"The aroma of the rum is dominated by a sweet, floral vanilla. There's just a tiny pop of alcohol vapor married with a hint of pepper. On the palate the rum delivers a swirl of sweet vanilla, ripe banana, and rock candy with another pop of pepper as the alcohol tickles the tongue in a medium finish."
