Released in July 2016, this recreation of an 1890s pre-Prohibition whiskey of the same name uses the same blending techniques and similar packaging as the original. Produced by Jos. A. Magnus & Co., the updated Murray Hill Club Blended Bourbon is made from a blend of three whiskeys: 20% eighteen-year bourbon, 50% eleven-year bourbon, and 30% nine-year light whiskey. These three blends together meets the 51% minimum straight bourbon requirement to be classified a blended bourbon.

Tasting Notes

"This is a variety show put on by American oak. The core of the aroma is fresh wooden planks. There is a splash of pickle juice presumably from rye but this is dried out by powdered cocoa and sawdust. The palate is lit up with wood spices. When the spices fade theres some sweet corn which is quickly drowned out by a long vanilla fluff finish. And just like that the show is over."
