A complex, Blended Irish Whiskey by Gortinore Distillers & Co. in County Waterford, Ireland triple distilled using Irish and American techniques & a mash bill of 20% malted barley and 80% corn; that is aged in ex-bourbon barrels before finishing in virgin American oak & being bottled at 40% ABV. It has an aromatic birth with notes of grains, wood, fruits, herbs & spices; while a slightly creamy life adds notes apple & basil; that led to a complex & warm death of medium length with notes of oak, cinnamon, orange zest, cedar & tobacco.

Is there a bad Irish whiskey? Sweet with a fruity (apple) taste.
