Tasting Notes
"Some cedar, barrel spices, and raw grain come through on the nose. Raw wood and pecan husks are discovered along with a faint hint of vinegar. There is an oily quality to it, but a touch of sweet helps to carry the whiskey along. A fair amount of vanilla, coffee, and apple skins are on the palate. The whiskey is young and raw and is clearly disjointed; for the price, you'd expect a lot more pleasantries to help you swallow both the price and the whiskey."
