Third tase, this time with a small handful of ice cubes. Still a lot of spice, with a bit more sweet due to dilution and temperature. Can’t wait to try it in an Old Fashioned or a Black Manhattan.
Fall 2014 distilled date. First taste and nose is spicy, after a few minutes, subsequent tastes bring loads of stone fruit. Wonderfully mouth coating, and warm all the way down. Very good 90 second finish with spicy warmth and some vanilla sweet.
Looks: Light amber..golden red
Nose: floral, light apple, light leather
Tast: spicy, full, oily, apple, hot.
Finish: slight burn, warm, lingers
Took a few tastings to figure out this one. As the spice and burn tend to dominate.

Sweet tea and pipe tobacco are dominant throughout. On the nose and taste.
Bit of bite on the tongue. Leathery goodness, too. So glad to finally taste this.
