RyeUnlike bourbon, rye whiskey can be made anywhere in the world. But if made in the US, the mash bill recipe must be at least 51% rye and it must be aged in new, charred oak barrels with no age requirement. Elsewhere, the rye whiskey will be made keeping the country of origin's rules regarding the recipe and minimum aging.

Tasting Notes
"The whiskey is a beautiful copper color in the glass. Spearmint and cedar show first on the nose, with vanilla, cacao, and orange peels. The palate offers cocoa powder and chewy, dense brownies and tart cherries. The finish is drier, with tannic oak, wet soil, and leather atop lasting notes of chocolate syrup and menthol. A pretty striking difference in profile from what you'd expect to see with a typical 100% (or 95-5) standard rye."
