New Riff 4 Year Single Barrel Bourbon

Bourbon flight on Kentucky trip Nose: Orange creme pop with vanilla ice cream. A hint of grass and green tea notes 1st sip did not disappoint. Everything that is on the nose with a bit of orange sourpatch kid on the mid palate. 2 sip: dipping more in the direction of a rich orange candy slice With water it become more herbal tea notes with a chai spice on the finish. The nose goes more floral. I have been looking forward to tasting New Riff and this was delightful.

Nose: candied orange, cherry oak Taste: spicy and young, smokey, cinammon, medium but slight unpleasant hotness/leather Finish: leather, smoked oak, lingers T8ke rating: 6/10
