Reviewed August 14, 2020 (edited September 28, 2021)Barrel no. 16-9067: smells and tastes of red apples, maple, and cinnamon. Nice fruity eaters in this one and less oak tones -

Reviewed August 10, 2020Nose is floral and perfume-like. Palate is SPICE, maybe a hint of mint at the arrival. Where most ryes provide a black pepper note, this kicks you in the teeth with cayenne pepper. Finish is a short, barrel tannin finish that lingers as the fire fades. If you like your rye hot, you will enjoy this. -

Reviewed August 9, 2020 (edited March 24, 2021)Above average Rye that gives my Willett 4 year a run for its money. This New Riff is beautifully sticky, rich spearmint, and just sweet enough to keep wanting more. Excellent bottle and I plan to pour this one on the regular.55.0 USD per Bottle -

Reviewed June 5, 2020Barrel no. 15-5928 56.9% This rye is pretty potent through and through. Nose: Oak and rye The heat starts quick and carries throughout. Very nice lingering flavor as well. There is a lot of char, smoke, burnt caramel flavor. I ended up putting a large cube in half way through (which I rarely drink anything with water or on the rocks). This certainly helped open up a bit. Honestly, like it more as a cocktail whiskey.
