Nikka's All Malt Whiskey is made by blending barley malt distilled in pot stills at Yoichi distillery with barley malt (instead of grain whisky that contains mostly corn) distilled in Coffey stills at Miyagikyo distillery. This whisky is bottled at 80 proof with no age statement. Note: This is not currently available for sale in the U.S.
BlendedComprised of both single malt(s) and single grain(s) often from many different distilleries; if Scotch or Irish must be aged for at least three years in oak barrels; Irish may include single pot still whiskey in the blend.
"A sweet vanilla nose and something akin to cereal milk after you've eaten Cocoa Puffs. The whisky is somewhat oily and rich on the palate with a hint of citrus and apple skins. Baking spices are gentle and woody notes are soft. Overall a nice dram."
