Reviewed December 25, 2024A rich, blended Japanese whisky from Nikka made with malt from Yoichi & a combination of malt & Coffey Still whisky from Miyagikyou. It has a birth with notes of vanilla, cream & a light dash of cocoa; while life adds the classic Nikka “oily”, malty & rich mouthfeel with a bit of orange zest & over-ripe apple; that leads to a long & soft death. Reviewed December 31, 2020It burns. Basically petrol. Very waning but it just tastes cheap & nasty, reminds me of cheap Thai whisky.
