Dark fruit with some nuttiness and just the right amount of smoke.

Sweet and floral with a late kick. Lighter than some other Japanese whiskeys. Satisfying burn on the way down.

Classic Japanese whisky taste

Plum, mild baking spice, vanilla, and fresh mizunara oak nose is lovely; there’s honestly not a ton of flavor unfortunately, a balanced grassy note from mizunara predominate with a bit of sweet pastry bread flavor from the barley; slightly hot, fairly thin; finishes clean with mizunara oak only; it’s nice to get the mizunara flavor, but otherwise, not very complex or interesting for the price; I’m curious about the iterations with age statements
