Nikka Whisky From the Barrel

Nikka! Coming through. Lovely stuff. Not too intense and great finish.

Tasty and a nice deviation from my bourbon norm. Toffee and a bit of rum on the nose. Palate is smooth, sweet and buttery, kind of like a mix of peanut butter and honey. Easy finish with some scotchy peatiness. Solid member of my bottle club.

Fruity, salty, vanilla and almond notes, smooth for the high abv, outstanding

Perfect cinnamon aftertaste

Having quite a mouthburn as this is my 4th whisky in tasting, I’m still very surprised by richness of it. Feeling that 51.4 without water, but taste is great, which just improves with a bit of water. Definitely will grab a bottle sometime near in future. I’d say a must on shelf and probably I’ll be even better on catching tastes at laidback evening focusing just on it.
