Nikka Whisky From the Barrel

My first Japanese whiskey. I tested with a friend, also for him the first Japanese whiskey. Straight, first impression was, “nothing spacial” and my friend he say “Cardhu”. We order some water and the whiskey opens up for a smooth experience, full of flavour. About the “chocolate”, “woods” and similar I will let that for the more experienced. Even it is frivolous to say I'm in love with the bottle shape. Elegant and mysterious. Perfect to bring to a party. Good for Old Fashioned. I will repeat? Probably…
