Nikka Yoichi Single Malt

聞起來泥煤香氣足，口感輕盈

This is surprisingly peaty and briney but less punchy than your peated Islay offerings. It has a nice ABV for a Japanese whiskey at 45% and a good oily mouthfeel. Definitely makes me want to go for another pour!

Passed on the nose with some fruit, iodine and vanilla. The palate is sweet rich with baking spice then slightly floral. The finish is slightly peated and peppery.
