Noah's Mill Bourbon

I've been wanting this bottle since quite some time now. After finally buying the bottle (yes I do have a list in which order I buy bottles because otherwise I would be broke each and every month) I opened it and it smelled like a glue factory, with a harsh alcoholic smell. Giving it a couple of minutes of air, the notes of warm cinnamon buns and dark chocolate came through. The tastes of pepper, caramel, and dried fruit are a nice touch to this whisky. The finish is sweeter than expected and long lasting and has a touch of dried fruits to it. Pretty nice bottle and one to have on the shelf

Sweet

Smooth, some sweetness and vanilla up front and then medicinal & young green wood settles into a spicy finish. Edit: on second taste, I'm getting more hints of peanuts and some brown sugar and think I like this a little more. But still think it tastes a little bit young, harsh and a bit too spicy at the end.

Sweet caramel vanilla, medicinal hints of cherry, hot spicy finish

Lots of flavor, a little medicinal, would drink, not sure I’d buy since it’s similar price and proof as Rare Breed but not as good.

Spices and complexity on top of a nice bourbon caramel with plenty of heat showing up for a lingering finish that mingles with vanilla
