Nucano mezcal Tobala joven

My first introduction to Tobala mezcal. The the nose is a tad smoky but quite sharp. There is a pronounced smokiness but more earthy than rubbery like in espadin. there is notes of lime and grapefruit and sage and some other bitter green herbal also appear. There is an astringency that make the finish uniquely dry. their is a heavy earthiness and mineral flavor that makes this complex and interesting to me.
