Bourbon
New Riff // Indiana (bottled in Kentucky), USA
New Riff calls this O.K.
I. because the whiskey is distilled in Indiana, bottled in Kentucky, and loved in Ohio.
New Riff calls this O.K.I. because the whiskey is distilled in Indiana, bottled in Kentucky, and loved in Ohio. The whiskey is compromised of three select barrels of a high-rye (35% rye) bourbon they age for 9 years and bottle it without any chill filtration.
"To say this is rich or full bodied wouldn’t be enough. This bourbon is chiseled like a designer cologne model. There’s an evocative bouquet of sandalwood, leather, caramel, and briny dill that makes you want to breathe in deeply. The texture is just rich enough to give your mouth a good coating. Aggressive spices light up your tongue and pave the way for pine sap, dill brine, and char hashmarks."
