Oban 15 Year Port Cask Finish is a limited-edition single malt from the coastal Highland distillery founded in 1794. The second release in Oban’s 15-Year cask-finished series, it follows the 2025 Oban 15 Year Cask Strength Sherry Cask Finish. The whisky is matured in American oak hogsheads before finishing in 100% American oak ruby port casks.
The finishing was inspired by the historic port-to-port connection between Oban and Porto, both coastal cities with long maritime trading histories. Bottled at 52.1% ABV, it became available beginning March 2026.

Tasting Notes
"The nose has a briny, maritime, salty plum element —as though fresh plums were harvested from the ocean — mixed with aromas of fire roasted, spiced nuts. The palate is rich and smoky, with notes of sweet pipe tobacco, cinnamon, fresh berries, and nutmeg. The midpalate takes on elements of a high tea, with rich flavors of chocolate-covered biscuits (like the British Hit brand) along with floral and earthy Earl Grey tea. The finish is a swirl of these rich, smoky, sweet-salty pastry, floral, and earthy notes. "
