Being a fan of GoT I really wanted to try at least one of this series. I’ve had this Oban and while it isn’t anything necessarily to write home about, it’s solid and balanced. Light with a somewhat foreshortened finished. Good for a lonely night atop the Wall
Nose - spiced apples and honey, citrus zest, caramel, sugar sweetness, some light floral notes
Palette - silky with medium body, honeyed apples, spiced oranges, a touch of bitterness to balance it out and some nice underlying richness
Finish - sweet rich on feting fruit, slights bitter tannins and spice on the tip of your tongue, medium light burn
