Oban Little Bay

Nose: malt, dark fruits, fig, red grape, sour citrus, green apple Taste: dark fruits, oak, bitter, butter scotch, salty Finish: spice, salty

Good whisky taste better with friends. Tried at a boardgame night with 4 colleagues from work. Oban's little bay is a good entry to a maritime and salty whisky with a touch of smoke. The virgin wood and it's oak influence is well mixed with the salty character of the whisky. A bit short on the finish and a not overly complex nose or palate. Yet, it does a good job and is a good entry whisky for those wanting some salty, maritime and a bit peaty drink.
